At 24, Valeska is one of the youngest music industry professionals with an extensive nine year track record.
Finding her passion of connecting fans with artists through live entertainment, she currently works at Live Nation on their concerts and corporate communications team developing campaign strategies to bring tours, shows, and global initiatives to life. Prior to her full time position at the company, she had a six month long college internship working on amphitheater, arena, and stadium tours as well as chiefly managing all PR for Live Nation produced Hollywood Bowl shows.
Her career started in the music products industry when she began working at Remo, Inc.. For over six and a half years, she helped redefine their artist relations, marketing, and social media departments through domestic and international artist media content and internal artist communications. She was tasked with new talent discovery for artist endorsements/social media partnerships and developing the identity of Remo, Inc. through outside brand partnerships. She also oversaw all the marketing, promotion, and social media for the Remo Music Center.
Valeska has contributed to the Roland Americas digital marketing team, NAMM public relations team, Pollstar Live! production team, and Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse management team specializing in digital marketing, strategic partnerships, media strategy, and customer service.
Her work in the industry also extends into artist management, as she has interned with Grammy Award-winning producer Om’Mas Keith on his artist management team, White Lines, working with clients such as Jeff Gitty, Brook D’Leau, Shaun Ross and more.
She graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Music Industry Studies and minors in Interactive Marketing & Business Law from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). At CSUN, she was the President of the Music Entertainment Student Association (MESA), an organization that connects students with music industry professionals through networking events and panel discussions. Her volunteer work also includes her musical and leadership mentorship at Rock Camp for Girls Los Angeles, a nonprofit social justice organization empowering young girls through music education. Valeska is a strong advocate for diversity inclusion in the music industry through her professional and volunteer work.
