VIT Coordinator, Vocal Instructor and Band Coach

As I transitioned from an intern to a full time volunteer, I took leadership roles in the organization through our volunteer in training program, workshops, DOS production logistics and audio equipment setup. I also introduced plans and strategies in instrument instruction and band practice to quickly increase productivity and empower our camper’s self-expression through music education, songwriting, and teamwork.

Vocal Instructor and Band Coach Intern

As a previous camper turned Volunteer In Training (VIT) Band Coach, I built upon my songwriting and teamwork skills I learned as a camper to mentor other campers and their bands complete their original song, logo design, band name and more, all in one week. As a vocal instructor, I taught girls ages 8-17 proper vocal techniques, warm ups, stage presence, building confidence and leadership skills to take into their showcase performance and beyond.
